Workshops are never meant to "judge" a piece of writing, nor "fix" a piece of writing. Workshops should, instead, help us understand our writing, and open up the possibilities for our next drafts. Workshops are about going forward.

In this workshop, we'll carefully read one another's work on many levels, from sentences to structures, all toward to the goal of making us smarter about our own work. Along with critiques, we'll do expansive writing prompts intended to explore big changes, as well as revision exercises to help us hone our craft.
