This workshop welcomes and will explore the many sub-genres of creative nonfiction-memoir, personal essay, travel and nature writing, literary journalism, lyric essay. We'll consider examples of published work (in hand-outs) as well as participant work and will incorporate some short writing exercises.

Discussion will focus on craft elements, the placement of the "I," and boundaries between ethical and artistic clarity.
