Ginny Rorby Scholarship
New this year, the Ginny Rorby Scholarship is offered for a writer working on Middle Grade or Young Adult fiction or nonfiction, who has a manuscript in progress that reflects literary quality and social significance.
Ginny Rorby, award-winning author of novels including Hurt Go Happy, The Outside of a Horse, Dolphin Sky, How to Speak Dolphin and Lost in the River of Grass, is a long time board member and former director of the Conference and wants to pay it forward to aspiring writers who are not afraid to tackle big issues in their writing for young people. Follow the application guidelines at “Ginny Rorby Scholarship Guidelines”.
