Mendocino Coast Writers Conference has two financial aid programs. The Mary Bradish Memorial Fund assists women over 60 of limited means with conference fees. Donations from friends of the conference provide financial aid for writers of all ages. Awards in both programs are made on the basis of merit and need. Typically MCWC provides partial support to several applicants, but full fees for one writer could be paid in exceptional circumstances.

• Send a completed registration form and a letter explaining your financial need, along with a writing sample (up to ten pages) and the names and phone numbers of two personal references.
• If you are a woman 60 or older, please mention this in your letter.
• If you have received financial aid from MCWC in the past three years, you are not eligible. You may apply again if you received aid four or more years ago.
• The deadline for financial aid requests is May 1, 2012.
