Stacey Jay is thrilled to join the faculty of the Mendocino Writers Conference for the first time.

Since she began writing full time in 2005, Stacey has published eleven novels under three pen names and worked with editors at Tor, New American Library, Penguin's Razorbill imprint, Flux books, Pocket books, and Random House's Delacorte imprint. Her most recent young adult novel, Juliet Immortal (Delacorte 2011), was named an ABC Best Books for Children's Catalog Selection for 2011.

Stacey is a former actor, yoga teacher, and special education tutor, and looks forward to bringing her experience with pretending, breathing, and thinking outside the box to the conference.
