Maureen Eppstein Maureen Eppstein's writing career has ranged widely. She has worked as a journalist, and for twenty years wrote and edited administrative documents at Stanford University. She has published fiction for both adults and children, as well as two recent poetry collections, Quickening and Rogue Wave at Glass Beach. Her poetry has won many awards and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is currently working on a memoir about being an expatriate New Zealander. She has taught Poetry Writing at the College of the Redwoods, Fort Bragg. For ten years, Maureen helped organize the monthly Waverley Writers poetry readings in Palo Alto, CA. She served on MCWC's planning committee for five years, and was a co-director in 2005 and 2010. |
