Mahbod Seraji, the author of Rooftops of Tehran, was born in Iran and moved to the United States in 1976 at the age of 19. He attended the University of Iowa where he received an MA in Film and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology. He currently works as a management consultant, and lives in the San Francisco Bay area. Rooftops of Tehran was an Indie Next Notable in June, a Bookreporter Bets On book in May, and selected in the Outstanding Debut category by the American Booksellers Association. Rooftops of Tehran is also the One Book Selection for the University of Villanova and Broward College. |
